Colors of Autumn: Russet, Auburn, & Sepia

As summer fades away, a cool breeze sets in, leaves start to change, and a crisp rain starts to fall. Fall has officially arrived and with the change of the season comes changes at the shop. Rich colors and textures are starting to fill up the shop. To get you in the spirit for fall here is a little color inspiration!

If one color were to embody the feeling of fall it would be the yummy shades of rust. This color comes to the forefront and takes center stage this season. It occurs naturally as the leaves start to change and the pumpkins start to ripen.

Rich texture and color come together in this russet corduroy moto jacket. Paired it with a lightly distressed denim and simple black wrap top to let the jacket be the star of the show. Threw on some embroidered Taos boots to tie the outfit all together (boots fromShoefly circa 2015).

Layering a similiar colored camisole under this cropped sweater creates length without breaking up the body. A on-trend outfit for fall and perfect for a date night to the local brewery. We caught the fireweed on its last leg of the season. True to its namesake, fireweed is often found growing in areas cleared out from wildfires. Take a trip along the Alaskan Highway and you are sure to see the vibrant blooms shooting up around the ashes and burnt trees of a recent wildfire.

What's your favorite wildflower?
